Customer Reviews
Consistently great for learning
This isn't my first time with CodeMonkey; I've been using their platforms for a few years now, primarily for my homeschool curriculum. We started with Block-based coding, then moved to Python courses, and this time I got the Game Builder for my older child. The consistency in quality is what keeps me coming back. The lessons are always clear, and the game-based approach makes it much less of a chore for the kids than other programs we've tried. The Teacher Dashboard is reliable for tracking progress, which I appreciate. Always a positive experience, no surprises.
Fun for the kids!
Got the Family Plan for my two kids and they absolutely loved Coding Adventure. They'd spend hours on it without me even asking. It was pretty easy to set up and get them going. Super happy with it, they actually learned stuff too!
Good content, minor delivery issue
I purchased an Individual Student Plan for my son to try the Python courses. The content itself was really well-structured, and he found the game-based learning engaging. It definitely kept his attention, which is a big win. However, it took about 48 hours for the access details to fully process and for us to get started, which felt a bit long after payment. Overall, it's a solid platform for teaching kids to code, but they could probably streamline the account activation process a little more.
Good deal, worth it
I was looking for something affordable for my daughter to learn coding and caught their Back to School Sale. I got an annual Individual Student Plan for 30% off, which was a pretty sweet deal. She's been working on Coding Adventure and seems to enjoy it. For the price I paid, it feels like a really good investment in her learning. Glad I waited for the discount; it made the whole thing feel like much better value.
Quick and easy access
Signed up for a Home School Plan. Access was quick. Kids liked Coding Adventure. Good value.

How long does it take for the subscription to activate after payment? Want to get my kid started right away.
hey, was thinking of getting this for my kid. is codemonkey good for really young ones, like 5 or 6?
how does codemonkey stack up against something like scratch? my kids have used scratch before.
Are there any free trials for the home subscription, or do you just have to jump right in?
Does anyone know if they do any good Black Friday sales? Thinking about getting a year subscription.
What's the cancellation process like if my kid doesn't end up liking it? Is it a hassle?
is codemonkey actually legit? saw some ads and it looks kinda fun but want to make sure it's not some scam.
